Worthington Biochemical Corporation
Founded in 1947 by Charles C. Worthington, a former Rockefeller Institute researcher who saw that laboratories needed a reliable commercial source of pure enzymes. Family-owned again since 1987 and now run by the third generation, Worthington is an ISO 9001 primary manufacturer: every enzyme is purified in its own Lakewood facility, not re-labelled.
What we carry from them
- Collagenase (types 1–4, purified CLSPA, animal-free formulations) for tissue dissociation and primary cell isolation
- Trypsin, DNase, elastase, hyaluronidase, papain, neutral protease and other purified enzymes
- Cell isolation systems and kits, nucleic acids and biochemicals for research, diagnostics and bioprocessing
- The Worthington Enzyme Manual — the reference most labs still cite

Steraloids Inc.
For more than sixty years Steraloids has collected, synthesised and supplied steroids to research institutions, pharmaceutical companies and forensic laboratories worldwide. The catalogue holds over 2,700 research-grade compounds, and the company is licensed by the U.S. DEA for controlled steroids.
What we carry from them
- Estrogens, androgens and their metabolites, progestins, corticosteroids
- Bile acids, sterols, cholestins and vitamin D related compounds
- Reference standards for testing, metabolism studies and method development
- Custom synthesis of steroid derivatives, labelled and unusual compounds

Oakwood Products, Inc. (Oakwood Chemical)
Oakwood manufactures fine organic and inorganic reagents with a particular strength in fluorine and sulphur compounds. Some 40,000 compounds are stocked at its Estill plant, backed by a fully equipped analytical laboratory, and a custom-synthesis department supplies anything from grams to tonnes for pharmaceutical, agrochemical and materials research.
What we carry from them
- Fluorinated building blocks, reagents and intermediates
- Sulphur compounds, heterocycles and speciality organics
- Solvents, biochemicals and inorganic reagents for synthesis
- Custom synthesis and scale-up, gram to tonne
